KCI has supported the EQ programs at Hope Creek and Salem Stations on an as-needed basis since 2004.  These stations were the first to transition their legacy EQ documentation to KCI’s electronic platform EQPro, and PSEG made a presentation at the 2007 EQ Technical Conference to showcase the benefits gained.  Recent PSEG work scopes have been to develop the initial EQ evaluation for electrical portions of the Framatome flux thimble tube assembly (Salem) and to extend EQ-driven maintenance intervals for electro-pneumatic valve operators, electro-hydraulic damper operators, and gland seal connectors (Hope Creek).  Based on the success of these efforts, PSEG is evaluating a broad project for EQ maintenance optimization.
